Merry Christmas, everyone!
A Christmas message from both of us to all of you!
It might not be the Christmas we were all looking forward to, but it is still a time to be grateful and time to relax.
I had high hopes of going home for Christmas since COVID-19 cancelled both Easter and summer plans. But it wasn’t meant to be. Even if I could have gone to Finland, I didn’t want to risk taking something home to my parents.
But it has been a year when everyone has had to make sacrifices and mine pale compared to those made by others.
I have been so grateful that my treatments all finished before COVID-19 took hold of the country and the world. My heart goes out to all cancer patients who have had treatments delayed because of the virus. Getting diagnosed with cancer is scary and stressful enough without having the thread of the virus hanging over you, too.
As another year goes by, I count my blessings. I am still here and cancer free. Both Justin and I and our loved ones have remained safe from COVID-19.
Let’s hope 2021 will bring with it a return to a more normal life, and we can all see and spend time with our families again.
We wish you all a blessed and restful Christmas time.
I know that everyone’s time is precious, so thank you for being here and reading the post.
Until next time!
