I loved this Friendly Friday Challenge prompt, although at first I wasn’t sure I’d write something in response to it. After all, we don’t have that many wild flowers growing around here. Or so I thought.
But it made me open my eyes. I went for a walk in Battersea Park and walked along the edge of the park. I usually use this path when I’m running and too focused on putting one foot in front of the other to take much notice of what’s around me.
To my surprise, I found an abundance of wild flowers. They might not be as shiny or sizeable as their cousins in the maintained areas of the park, yet they are none-the-less beautiful.
I’m grateful for this challenge, as it reminded me that beauty is all around us when we take the time to look for it.
Until next time!

A worthwhile cause and great reminder to observe the things we often take for granted. I love that the wildflowers found you on your walk. Is this Battersea in England by any chance?
Thanks. And yes, it is Battersea in England.
Nature is so inspiring! Beautiful pictures🌸⚘
